An Account Manager (“AM”) is a consultative account management and sales position responsible for growing revenue and strengthening partnerships with Accurate’s clients. The Account Manager maintains regular contact with their assigned account base and increases revenue by positioning and demonstrating new and existing products, preparing appropriate ROI’s and providing proactive and strategic solutions to their clientele. The AM drives sales revenue by building a relationship with key players within their accounts; penetrating the account at all levels and subsidiaries; becoming a trusted advisor on background screening services and related products to meet the needs of their accounts. The AM stays in total engagement with the account during the final steps of the sales cycle, implementation and provides ongoing support and solutions to secure their accounts for the long term. The AM will work with the necessary internal resources to ensure fulfillment of the clients’ requirements.

Responsibilities- Develops corporate contacts and cultivates relationships at all levels that enhances Accurate Background’s position, which may lead to incremental business within the designated account
- Prepares annual performance reviews and multiple year account plans for each account based on short, mid and long-range plans. Provides statistical usage reports for regular client meetings as needed
- Negotiates pricing and implementation and prepares proposals for offering Accurate Background additional products and services (up-sells products and services)
- Analyzes client usage through reports and regular client contact and identifies potential opportunities or account issues and reports all activity to Key Stakeholders
- Develops a thorough and precise account plan detailing specific and relevant information about all aspects of assigned accounts with the end goal of growing the partnership with the assigned client base
- Analyzes industry trends and identifies white space opportunities to present solutions to client to enhance their current program and generate new business opportunities
- Profiles clients and strategically drives sales revenue through offering and selling product solutions, with new business units, divisions, client vendors both direct and indirect
- Tracks and exceeds sales targets aligned with company objectives though Accurate’s defined sales cycle.
- Works with internal and external resources to provide solutions, i.e. ATS providers on implementation of new services and/or integrations
- Responsibilities will include up selling and strategic account penetration
- Possesses an in depth understanding of their clients’ markets and their industries
- Acts as lead on client-driven special projects
- Identifies risk and presents solutions to key stakeholders to mitigate churn
- Travel required 15-20%

Qualifications - 3+ years background screening and client-facing experience required
- 3+ years Account Management in HR-related industry preferred
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Exercises a wide range of decision-making control
- Very skillful in formulating solutions for difficult decisions
- Ability to organize tasks, multi-task and manage time efficiently
- Excels in suggesting optional solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
$57,000 - $87,175 a year
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $57,000 - $87,175. Pay will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education and training. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus, commission, or other variable pay plan.
