Residential Generator Repair Technician / Electrical Apprentice

Here you won’t just “have a job,” you will be helping us to reshape the future of home services by providing reliable, best-in-class service to your neighbors in your community.What You’ll Do:• Assist lead technician with daily installations and repairs of electrical systems.• Work closely with the lead technician to ensure that work is completed and job site is clean.• Organizes work by receiving and studying work orders; gathering tools and supplies.• Repairs electrical problems by replacing faulty parts and components.• Maintains safe work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with codes.• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.• Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.• Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.• Replaces conduit and wiring as needed.• Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.• Complete special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.What you need to succeed:• Prior experience in residential generator installation and maintenance preferred• Electrical license preferred• Knowledge of multiple manufactures of equipment• Communication Skills• Able to work independently or with a team• NEC Training• OSHA 10• Ability to Troubleshoot• Ability to Problem Solve• Ability to complete equipment maintenance• Able to pass a drug screening and background check (random testing may occur)• Valid Driver’s License and Clean MVR.• High standards for your work.
