Our success is fueled by a team of nearly 900 dedicated team members who genuinely love what they do and are dedicated to helping homeowners thrive and love where they live.Action Property Management, the leader in community management, is seeking a full-time Access Control Officer to join our team at our luxury association, 1288 Howard, located in San Francisco.Job Responsibilities:• Summary:The Access Control Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the property. They maintain a constant security presence, patrol common areas, and enforce HOA rules. The Access Control Officer also provides concierge services to residents and guests.Security• Conduct regular inspections of the property, including the building perimeter, hallways, and stairwells.• Monitor surveillance cameras and report suspicious activity.• Respond to disturbances and emergencies as needed.• Coordinate resident moves and ensure common areas are protected.• Operate the elevator control system to direct visitors to the correct floors.Concierge Services• Greet residents, guests, and visitors at the kiosk in a welcoming manner.• Answer phones and provide information to callers.• Maintain the appearance of the lobby, elevators, and package room.• Assist residents with package delivery and retrieval.• Coordinate with vendors on a situational basis (I.e. trash pick-up, janitorial services, etc.).• Monitor activity in the lobby and, when necessary, coordinate on-site personnel to address residents’ and guests’ needs; utilize Building Link to contact residents to announce guests and deliveries.Documentation• Document discrepancies, incidents, and emergency responses.• Complete daily activity reports and pass-on logs.• Maintain inventory of forms, supplies, and other items.Compliance• Adhere to HOA rules, regulations, and emergency procedures.• Understand and implement emergency procedures, understand and coordinate appropriate communications with residents and emergency personnel in the event of fire alarm, fire, flooding, earthquake, or other emergency event.• Report complaints and non-compliance issues to management. If applicable, respond to the issue and politely call to the attention of the offending party the complaint or non-compliance issue and request that it be resolved as quickly and practicable as possible; document details of the incident as appropriatePosition and Work Environment:• This position requires onsite presence at the assigned property. The position is primarily indoors but may involve outdoor patrols.• Exposure to varying weather conditions.• No travel requiredQualifications / Requirements:• Must be over 18 years of age and successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening• At least 6 months of customer service experience.
