Summary of the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic Full-Time FP&A Analyst to play a crucial role in our finance and operations team. The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for generating strategic insights and compiling extensive reports through advanced reporting and analysis. This role will heavily leverage Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and NetSuite experience to support specific strategic projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for full P&L and key functional areas: Sales, COGS, Marketing, R&D, headcount, OPEX and inventory.
  • Report development and design including the setup of processes, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain dynamic and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI to provide real-time insights into KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain reports on key inventory metrics to ensure optimal inventory management. Provide insights to the supply chain and operations teams to optimize supply chain costs and working capital.
  • Develop and track key financial and operational metrics and trends to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement, actionable insights
  • Leverage in-depth NetSuite knowledge to extract and integrate financial and operational data into reporting systems.
  • Spearhead inventory-related analysis to help optimize supply chain costs and inventory turnover, contributing to enhanced profitability.
  • Utilize Power Query to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI for analysis.
  • Assist the CFO in developing budgets with channel owners.
  • Develop accurate forecasting tools to support teams and drive financial statement forecast accuracy
  • Analyze budget and forecast opportunities to improve financial performance.
  • Conduct ad-hoc business performance reporting.
  • Build business models, ROI models and break even analysis to support marketing and sales strategies.
  • Partner with teams to support analytics and business decisions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of operational metrics and inventory management
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, Excel modeling and Netsuite.
  • Prior experience in the beauty industry or a closely related industry is highly preferred.
  • Excellent data visualization skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
