Overview:

We're looking for an Ad Ops Associate to join our team. This person will work with key stakeholders to manage inventory and traffic ad campaigns across Newsletters, Social, Podcasts, Video, and Branded / Editorial Content.


What you'll do:

• Maintain a high quality standard for the Ad Operations department to ensure accuracy and to exceed client expectations.

• Provide troubleshooting support for issues including, but not limited to, creative specifications, malfunctioning ad creative materials, click-through URLs, and landing pages, custom executions, under/over-delivery issues, order management and implementation.

• Project manage creative specification requirements and asset delivery; coordinating timelines and leading internal and external communications.

• Manage the pre and post-launch QA process (3rd party tags, creatives), assuring that ads meet creative specs and are tracked properly.

• Maintain performance reporting to ensure benchmarks are accurate

• Work alongside the Accounts Receivable team to close out monthly billing and resolve monthly and ongoing invoicing queries.

• Collaborate with team members by providing ideas on how to continually improve operational processes and communication channels.


What you'll bring:

• 2+ years digital advertising experience preferably in publisher side

• BS/BA or equivalent degree 

• Understanding of ad systems and technologies 3rd party measurement tools

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with all levels of employees

• Exceptional communication skills, both internally and externally

• Willingness to be coached 


Nice to have:

• Expertise in the online advertising ecosystem; different ad technology stacks and vendors and how they fit into the digital advertising ecosystem

• Strong knowledge of campaign lifecycle management, ad sales process, trafficking, QA, performance analytics/reporting

• Beginner level experience in any Ads Manager (Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc.)

• Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, DCM, and/or tagging technologies
