Lead Video Creator

Working at Adaptavist

The Adaptavist Group is a global family of companies with a common goal. We combine the best of teamwork, technology, and processes, helping all kinds of businesses be better today and tomorrow.

We are experts at delivering enterprise software, tailored solutions, and quality services across some of the world’s most trusted technology ecosystems, including Atlassian, AWS, Slack, GitLab, Monday.com and Aha!

We make change happen. From anywhere.

Our flexible, remote-first way of working means that work can fit around your life, rather than your life fitting around work.

About the team

If you’re looking to be part of this growing team, it’s mostly about teamwork and fun. Our current team consists of educational experts from various backgrounds who work across our UK and US offices, and we’re definitely looking to grow even further. If you enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and celebrating success as a team while having snacks together, this is the team for you!

Trust is one of the many values that we live and work by, and it’s given from Day 1. In other words, you manage and own your projects and workloads. Our remote-first culture means that you’re not required to come to an office, and it offers you flexibility to work around your life.

About the role

This role will lead the Customer Education team’s video function, working with our Senior Instructional Media Designer and Associate Video Creators to manage the end-to-end production of high quality, public-facing video content for Adaptavist’s multiple product business units. The work this team are creating includes everything from gifs, explainers and product demos, to fully custom-animated hero videos.

You will be involved in working with the Adobe Creative Suite, designing and implementing efficient workflows and templates, and providing expert-level guidance to the video team on the tool stack and its implementation in always driving quality and customer outcomes forward . This role also involves close collaboration with embedded instructional designers, education consultants, product managers, and marketing teams to ensure that video content is accurate, effective, and aligned with business objectives. You will also mentor and develop the skills of the video team, fostering a culture of creativity, quality, and continuous improvement.

As part of the Customer Education team, this role contributes to the broader remit of delivering education projects to Adaptavist’s business units so excellent stakeholder management and project management skills will be critical. The Adaptavist Group values trust as a part of its culture and measures success by output over micromanagement. The Customer Education team works to these values daily - collaboration, sharing ideas, internal review, and providing the education video team with opportunities to excel are all central to the role.
