We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead and oversee our Accounting team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial reporting while providing strategic direction and leadership. You will manage the Accounts Payable Department, guide the monthly close process, and support the transition to a Financial Statement Audit in 2024. This position demands a leader who can foster a collaborative, high-performance environment and drive continuous improvement in accounting processes.Key Responsibilities:• Lead the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.• Oversee the month-end close process and financial statement preparation for multiple locations.• Monitor and analyze financial variances, escalating issues as needed.• Implement and document key internal controls to ensure compliance and safeguard assets.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and documentation.• Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, promoting a positive and inclusive culture.• Prepare and review audit requests and support external reviews.• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.• Minimum of 4 years in accounting management, with a focus on Accounts Payable and month-end close.• Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance.• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.• Experience with internal controls over financial reporting is a plus.
