Position: HR GeneralistLocation: Forest, VAPay: 60-70kIn this role, you will leverage your strengths as a conceptual thinker, coupled with exceptional organizational and conflict management skills. Additionally, your problem-solving prowess and ability to multitask and adapt seamlessly in a highly dynamic environment are critical attributes.To ensure success, HR Generalists should showcase strong decision-making skills, coupled with a deep knowledge of employee relations, staffing management, and training. Top candidates will be comfortable handling ambiguous situations.HR Generalist Responsibilities:• Builds meaningful relationships with associates to cultivate a safe, trustworthy, and supportive space.• Participates in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.• Organizes events to engage employees, promote company culture, and support HR initiatives; Leads special HR initiatives and strategic objectives.• Assists with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, and coordinate the interview process.• Investigates complaints brought forward by employees.• Coordinates employee development plans and performance management.• Onboards all new employees.• Participates or leads company committees (Engagement, Safety, Community).• Supports the mission, vision and values throughout the organization.• Supports employee engagement activities, including communication through electronic boards, bulletin boards, and other means of communication.• Produce and submits reports on general HR activity.• Keeps up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.• Performs additional responsibilities as required to ensure the team's success.HR Generalist Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent amount of experience with a proven track record in human resources• 2+ years of HR experience• Understanding of Labor Law and Employment equity regulations• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines• Conflict management• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills• Meticulous attention to detail
