Role: Payroll SpecialistLocation: New York, NY (Midtown)Pay Rate Range: $30 - $35 / HourInternal Job ID: 10029420Midtown NFP is looking for a temp to perm Payroll Specialist. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the payroll.Job Responsibilities:• Manage payroll related communications, including audit requests, and reporting in a timely manner• Manage timekeeping policies and protocols, including electronic / manual timesheet calculation and review with approval• Resolve payroll errors, Support PTO and benefits tracking• Maintain all payroll-related records and documents• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail• Semi-monthly payrolls, including entering payroll changes and verifying the accuracy of all data prior to submission for all company entities, including garnishments and levies,• Develop strong controls and procedures to ensure accurate and timely payroll for all pay companies, including receipt of all data required to process payroll• Manage relationship with Payroll Service Provider to ensure successful implementation of requested changes and enhancements• Support year-end payroll closing procedures• Knowledge of federal, state and local government regulations and reporting requirements that affect payroll processing• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and writtenRequirements:· 2+ years’ of payroll experience required,· Processing multiple companies simultaneously with an understanding of Payroll best practices· Experience with UKG, UltiPro or Kronos preferred, with strong reporting skills· Excel skills including VLookUp and Pivot Tables· Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills; ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive informationWhy choose Addison Finance & Accounting?• Pay: We negotiate high salaries using U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics• Benefits & Bonuses: You are eligible for medical, dental, vision insurance benefits, 401K, and monetary bonuses• Permanent Employment: Many of Addison’s Finance & Accounting job openings lead to potential permanent employment• Connections: You connect directly with hiring managers from renowned organizations• Options: You are presented multiple employment options near your home• Professional Development: You are provided hiring process advice, resume revision, and employment term negotiationAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
