Medical Biller

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Medical Biller in Newark, New York! This role is in person / on site. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:Type: Permanent / Direct hire rolePay: $18.00 to $20.00 per hourSchedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pmResponsibilities of the Medical Biller:• Responsible for general aspects of billing and payment collection.• Process claims and handle clearing house rejections.• Resolve denial instances.• Post charges.• Post payments.• Monitor accounts receivable.• Work with insurance companies on disputed claims and processing issues.• Update tracking spreadsheets.• Interact virtually with clients on billing and payment matters.• Assist with incoming mail.• Conduct duties in a professional and timely fashion.• Prepare ad hoc analysis and reports as necessary.Qualifications for the Medical Biller:• Ability to work independently with a sense of personal ownership and ability to “get things done” as well as work as part of a team.• 2 years minimum of experience in accounts receivable field.• Medical Billing experience preferred.• Valid NYS Drivers’ License• Creative problem-solving skills.• Effective communication skills• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong emphasis on Excel skills.• Strong aptitude for written and verbal customer service.
