Job Description:
L3Harris is currently searching for an Administrative Assistant for one of our Engineering Departments. This role is located at their Salt Lake City, Utah campus. The Administrative Assistant will provide editorial support (proof reading/editing, preparation of materials/reports, and editorial technical support).
- Providing coordination, tracking and reporting activities as needed
- Setting up travel through the Corporate Travel Office
- Provide support to Business Area personnel with travel (booking and processing travel claims).
- Provide support to Business Area for meetings including: meeting notes, follow up on action items, conference scheduling/equipment, and catering as needed.
- Ensuring office supplies are available to the Business Area
- Coordinating office equipment to meet business area needs
- Receive, respond, and redirect, customer inquiries
- Compile and maintain various standard reports and files
- Attend and provide administrative support during meetings as required
- Other duties as assigned by your management
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication skills to gather and develop information to support the Business Area is essential.
- Utilize your abilities to learn new computer programs and databases as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree preferred, but not required.
