WinnCompanies is looking for an agile and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team at City Crossing Apartments, a 131-unit residential community located in Jersey City, NJ. In this role, you will assist with the daily functions of the office and special projects.

Please note that the pay range for this position is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. This is also a part-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide office support, including: maintaining files, ordering office supplies, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and facilitating overnight shipping.
  • Assist with department operations, including: creating department check requests, filing paid invoices, preparing organizational charts and presentations, booking meetings, and setting up conference rooms.
  • Provide back-up support for the receptionist.
  • Keep the property management team updated on existing or potential problems.
  • Complete special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Prior experience with OneSite software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and apply initiative.

Preferences

  • Prior experience in the Property Management industry
  • Prior experience working at HUD properties
