Joed Ngaruiya, Independent Financial Advisor with LPL Financial is seeking a motivated, responsible professional to support his financial planning practice. If you want to utilize your administrative and organizational skills to support a growing practice, this role is right for you.
The role of Administrative Assistant will act as a right-hand person in the operations and growth of the business, specializing in client service, application processing, and ongoing workflow item maintenance. To be successful in this role, you must possess the ability to build rapport with wide range of clients, be a able to complete self-initiated follow-through, and possess strong organizational/multi-tasking skills.
Financial Advisor Assistant Responsibilities
- Schedule and confirm appointments with clients, coordinating multiple calendars
- Field telephone calls and receive and direct visitors
- Maintain client database, and execute service protocols
- Complete administrative paperwork to onboard clients and track workflow
- Office organization, including scanning and filing of office documents
- Maintain office equipment and supplies (fax, copier, postage, etc.)
- Faxing, copying, and other administrative support.
Qualifications/Critical Skills:
- Strategic and proactive mindset, willing to take initiative to drive business operations
- High ownership of responsibilities and resourceful with problem solving
- Ability to stay organized, be detail-oriented, and have strong follow-through
- Ability to build rapport over the phone with a wide range of clients
- Technology savvy (intermediate level of Microsoft Office skills and be willing to learn new computer systems)
Experience:
- Administrative: 1 year (Preferred but not required)
- Administrative Assistant: 1 year (Preferred but not required)

Special Note:
There will be a 90-day trial period in which you will be earning minimum wage. This will be reevaluated upon the end of the 90-day trial period.
