SUMMARY: The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks..

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

  • Liaise with partner organizations and programs to build and maintain relationships
  • Maintain linkage agreements and/or memoranda of understanding to facilitate collaborative work with other organizations
  • Schedule meetings, events, and program services to support goals
  • Provide administrative support to program staff through ordering supplies, and coordinating staffing schedules and communications
  • Support data tracking efforts and conduct follow-up communications with program participants
  • Serves as a point person for visitors to the Center, by supporting front desk coverage, directing inquiries, phone calls, and participants

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Bachelor's degree a plus.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • At least one year of experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.

  • Ability to work independently.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • This job operates in an indoor office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
