About the Opportunity
Job Description:
As an advancement services assistant in the Oakland Office of Institutional Advancement, you will support Mills at Northeastern by communicating with donors about the impact of their contributions, thanking donors for their support; general office support including filing, database maintenance, mailings; assisting at events; and supporting OIA (Office of Institutional Advancement) initiatives related to philanthropic efforts.
Duties:

Initiating donor follow up calls/correspondence

Collect, review and scan mail

Work collaboratively to coordinate the mailing of thank you notes and gift receipts

Maintain donor files as needed

Maintain data updates on constituent records in Banner
-
Assist with/attend OIA events
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Strong customer service skills and friendly demeanor on the phone, via email, and in face-to-face interactions

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with care

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work independently

Comfort with and experience using computers and MS Office applications

Good judgment. Be willing to address questions or concerns to your supervisor as needed.

Reliable, able to take direction, work accurately, and maintain a friendly attitude in a deadline-driven environment.
The hourly rate is $28.96 based on the position's responsibilities and scope.
