Our client is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their growing team in Jersey City, NJ.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$27/hr

Position Overview:

The Administrative Assistant should be positive, excited, organized and ready to get their hands on all levels of directing phone calls, scheduling meetings, working with the front desk team and pretty much perfecting the title of ‘Jack of all Trades.’ They must have experience working in a professional setting. The Administrative Assistant will work part-time hours, Monday to Friday. The Administrative Assistant position requires someone that has previous working experience within banking or investment industries.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:

  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Setting up meetings/appointments and dealing with calendar management
  • Greeting and directing clients
  • Helping with general recruiting requirements
  • Scheduling international and domestic travel arrangements
  • Gatekeeper to the Vice President
  • Creating weekly schedules
  • Taking minutes for meetings
  • Handling expenses and travel

Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including generating reports and creating presentations with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Kronos and Oracle experience is preferred
  • Organizational skills
  • 3 – 5 years of solid Administrative experience
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines
  • Ability to organize calendars, events, and meetings for groups of up to 50 people

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
