In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least 4 years of progressively responsible experience, beyond high school, performing a wide range of administrative, secretarial, and organizational skills such as preparing correspondence, scheduling appointments, arranging travel, etc., one year which must be equivalent to the GS/GG-7 grade level in the Federal service.
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following: Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and correspondence procedures; ability to work efficiently in handling multiple assignments; ability to deal tactfully with various levels of personnel; ability to work within a team environment or as a lead administrative assistant; and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook and appointment calendar.
