Job Description:

Responsibilities:

This position will support the Marketing and Special Events department with a variety of projects such as promotions, communications, social media, on-lot event coordination/execution, and industry research. Additionally, assist with any projects as needed by management.

•Assist Special Event staff in coordination of on-lot events

•Build and maintain relationships with on-lot Studio Operations departments and outside vendors

•Assist with executing Studio Operations Marketing and Communications strategies

•Assist with gathering information for collateral, newsletters, power point presentations

•Assist with accommodating press and photo shoots

•Provide support to the departments on projects as needed

Quals--

• Qualifications:
• High school diploma/GED equivalent
• 1+ years of work experience
• Able to work nights and weekends at events
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, time sensitive environment

Desired Characteristics:

• College degree (preferably in Communications, Marketing, Business or Film and Television)
• Entertainment and/or Events experience
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational skills
• Communication skills and teamwork mentality
• Highly motivated/Self-starter
• Professional attitude

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $19.33 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Universal City, CA 91608: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Event marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
