In this vital role as a key member of the Commercial Data & Analytics (CD&A) team, the Administrative Coordinator (AC) you will be primarily responsible for complex administrative support activities supporting Executive Directors for CD&A. CD&A is a broad organization with a singular vision to develop Data & Analytics capabilities across Global Commercial Operations (GCO), support a cultural shift towards expanded use of advanced analytics, and drive prioritization of high value work. This role will work closely with the other Administrative Coordinators and Executive Assistants within GCO.
The AC’s administrative work assignments will be complex in nature requiring absolute discretion and confidentiality, as well as considerable tact, judgment, creativity, and initiative in resolving issues. The AC must also be able to manage multiple priorities in a continually changing environment.
  • Proactively assist with multiple executives’ calendars in setting up department meetings, with a focus on efficient time utilization and time conflict management, ensuring that the EDs and organization are appropriately represented at all forums
  • Coordinate arrangements for and execute key tasks to effectively manage a variety of key business meetings
  • Execute and coordinate certain special projects such as team schedules, team building, and onboarding needs
  • Assist with domestic travel arrangements amidst dynamic business requirements
  • Timely preparation and processing of expense reports

Basic Qualifications:
Associate’s degree and 2 years of administrative experience
OR
2 years in a technical school setting with hands-on experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 4 years of administrative experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in an administrative support role supporting large teams at different levels
  • Managing multiple calendars including coordination across multiple time zones
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in communicating key business and critical information
  • Advanced knowledge of Outlook, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (i.e., word processing, presentations, and spreadsheet skills) as well as SharePoint, SAP, Microsoft Teams and the Learning Management System at Amgen
  • Experience providing administrative support to remote staff
  • Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Discretion in dealing with proprietary information

This position will be paid on an hourly basis. The annualized base pay range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $68,637 - $85,841.
