St. Edward's University, a nationally ranked, independent Catholic university and Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) invites applications for the Academic Programs Coordinator position in Academic Affairs. The Academic Programs Coordinator provides broad support for programs in Academic Affairs including Global Initiatives, Study Abroad, General Education, Freshman Seminar, Honors, and Fellowships. Additionally, it supports the AVP for Faculty DEI in special projects, as needed.

For consideration, the applicant must possess Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of administrative support and program coordination experience in higher education or other educational setting. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with faculty, students, and staff in a diverse campus community. Strong verbal and written communication for understanding project requirements. Ability to exercise and apply sound judgment and decision-making skills as well as the ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality of data and information. Independently motivated, with the ability to take on tasks and duties without immediate direction. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to edit work for spelling and grammar, present numerical data effectively, and read and interpret written information. Ability to adapt to new platforms as they are introduced, including website maintenance, calendar and meeting scheduling platforms (e.g. Handshake, Calendly, Google Calendar), virtual meeting applications (e.g. Zoom, Skype, FaceTime), and other CRM software, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, Adobe Sign, and others as needed. Ability to travel by car and plane for university business (5%). Must possess an unencumbered driver's license and the ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
