Position Description

Advertised Job Summary
Organizes and conducts complex administrative duties for the Associate General Counsel. Prepare correspondence, schedule appointments, coordinate travel arrangements and answer phone lines; has the ability to multi-task. Assist w/ preparation of documents in response to requests from external agencies and the public. Assist w/ gathering information for Freedom of Information Act Request. Responsible for contract management functions including computerized logging/tracking and archiving of all University contracts and custodial file management. Responsible for ordering all office supplies and maintains office equipment.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or equivalency.

Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with USC policies, procedures and systems is preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Must have excellent interpersonal and secretarial skills. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Skilled at handling confidential and/or sensitive information. Self-motivated. Ability to communicate effectively.
