NRDC is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to work with the Center for Policy Advocacy’s Federal Affairs team in our Washington, DC office.
Position Summary
NRDC is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to work with the Federal Affairs team in our Washington, DC office. This role provides important administrative and day-to-day operations support. This is a heavily administrative, entry-level role, not a policy or strategy role.
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and facilitating internal and external meetings.

Managing calendar appointments and meetings.

Contract development.
-
Processing invoices and business expenses.
-
Tracking team income, tracking actual versus projected budgets, and meeting with staff to reconcile spending.

Ensuring communication, collaboration, and information-sharing within the department and with other institutional partners.

Drafting, editing, formatting, and proofreading reports on team progress and campaign plans.

Providing general operational support and performing ad hoc projects for the Outreach or Campaigns team as needed.

We offer competitive salaries, excellent benefits, and a supportive working environment. Salary is based on a nonprofit scale and is commensurate with skills and experience. For this position, the salary is $50,000 to $57,000. Internal equity considerations will be reviewed before making a final offer.
