Summary: Registration Services is responsible for the management of 40+ meetings annually. This position will require you to independently manage advance and on-site registration for attendees, guests, and exhibitors for approx. 15 annual midsize meetings (under 600 people/meeting) as assigned by the Manager, Registration & Travel Services. Management includes, but is not limited to, coordination with internal and external clients to assess registration needs; development of programming notes/business rules for registration website development; facilitation of database integration with various ACS departments and outside vendors as required (i.e. web services for membership verification, mobile apps, online CME claiming, session scanning, etc.); management of registration vendors to ensure accurate programming and functionality of registration websites (smaller meetings will require administrator to complete website programming); website testing; and on-site registration management when required. Registration email and phone support may be required during busy seasons. Assist Registration team with attendee management for larger meetings including the annual Clinical Congress. Assist Manager, Registration & Travel Services with departmental tasks as needed.
This exempt position will report to the Manager, Registration and Travel Services in the Division of Convention and Meetings. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote.
