Admission Advisor/International

The Division of Enrollment Management invites applications for a 12 month, full-time (M-F 8:30am-5pm) energetic and highly motivated admission professional to join our Graduate and International Admission team. This position is based on campus in Peoria, Illinois and will have a primary role in recruiting and admitting international and domestic students to Bradley University.

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Evaluate student credentials, including transcripts.
• Advise applicants, departments, and campus offices regarding university and admission regulations and policies.
• Represent the University to prospective students and the general public with the highest degree of professionalism.
• Develop positive educational partnerships and working relationships with faculty and staff at Bradley and outside institutions.
• Identify, recruit, and contribute to increasing the population of admitted and enrolled under-represented and/or nontraditional students.
• Participate in in-person recruitment event, which may include local, regional, or international travel.
• Analyze current and historical admission results and trends and develop and implement strategies to surpass enrollment goals.
• Utilize CRM Slate to maintain updated records and communicate with students.

Education & Experience

• Required: High School Diploma; Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university.
• Preference will be given to candidates with admission experience and/or knowledge of Bradley University processes and departments.

Candidates must possess the following skills and abilities:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects; flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with excellent follow through.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Strong organization skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in computer operations and programs including Microsoft Office Suite.

Due to the nature of this position, limited evening and weekend work can be expected throughout the year. Candidates should also be prepared to travel as necessary and must possess a valid US driver’s license. While the majority of the work is done sitting or standing, the ability to lift boxes weighing up to 40 pounds is also necessary. Candidates may need to access Non-ADA compliant buildings.
