Responsibilities:
Shift - Tuesday-Friday 1pm to 9:30pm & Saturday 10am-6:30pm
Performs administrative duties required for admission of patients.

Review intake screening and VOB information for patients prior to admission, follow-up if warranted.

Coordinate with Patient Financial Information & Benefits Coordinator on insurance/financial issues that may arise during admission.

Collects any payments at time of admission as requested.
- Forwards all collections and associated documentation to business office.

Completes and updates forms in operating platforms with patients.
- Answer phone calls; make appropriate referrals based on information given by caller.

Assist with admission-related financial functions as necessary.

Manage transportation requests, including drivers, car service scheduling and dispatching.

Meets with families at time of admission, answer any questions / concerns.

Maintains and develops required reports as requested by Director of Patient Services.

Meets with drivers daily to discuss and coordinate transportation/ conflicts.

Monitors and manages all email correspondence.

Maintain compliance with insurance contractual obligations.

Maintains compliance with AAC policies and procedures.

Maintains compliance with state regulations.

Supports and promotes an environment of Customer Service.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor’s degree preferred

1-2 years’ experience working a substance abuse facility or behavioral health preferred

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to shift priorities to meet departmental needs.

Ability to plan and utilize time and resources effectively

Ability to maintain communication with poise and professionalism in conflictive situations.

Professional in appearance and manner
