Job Title: Seasonal Maintenance Technician - E-Commerce Warehouse

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Seasonal Maintenance Technician to join our team in an e-commerce warehouse for the busy season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and facilities are maintained in optimal working condition to support efficient operations during peak periods. This role requires a strong understanding of maintenance procedures and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Routine Maintenance:
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment and machinery, including conveyor systems, sorting machines, and forklifts.
- Conduct routine checks on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure functionality.
Repairs and Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and implement timely repairs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of parts and supplies.
- Prepare reports on equipment performance and maintenance history.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with warehouse staff and management to coordinate maintenance schedules with operational needs.
- Assist in training team members on equipment usage and basic maintenance procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
4+ years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a warehouse or industrial environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulics
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Proficient in using hand and power tools safely.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

Duration: This is a seasonal position, with the potential for extension based on operational needs.
