Job Description: Sensitive Exam Patients (SEP models) portray patients for formative learning and evaluation of health care students. In addition to portraying clinical case presentations, SEPs also evaluate students from the "patient" perspective. SEPs are instrumental in assessing physical exam skills of students. They are expected to have excellent memory and communication skills to fulfill those dual responsibilities. SEPs are responsible for providing experiences to students in performing sensitive exam pertinent to Female Breast Exam.

UMKC Standardized Patients may be invited to participate in virtual patient portrayals (for patient cases mimicking tele-health visits or for educational programs desiring a virtual option for learners). As such, applicants should have:

Salary: $275.00 hr
