We are Looking for:

As Live Operations Producer, you will be responsible for execution of the daily live programming on the Amazon Live Linear Channel. The successful candidate will be passionate about live production, playlist scheduling, and broadcast excellence. You can influence without authority and have superior written and verbal communication skills. Your ability to form and maintain strong relationships and influence with team members is key to success. This is a fully on-site position.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for successful execution of Live Events airing on a 24/7 FAST Channel, including operation of playlist within an Amagi UI
Is the channel’s POC in the Control Room, coordinating with Directors, Producers, and Production Staff to ensure clean broadcasts
Independent real time troubleshooting when issues arise with channel feed during live stream
Owns documentation of Live Operations SOPs, including updating and quarterly reviews
Support Channels Team with Playlist creation and QA responsibilities.
Additional ad-hoc scheduling, operational, creative and marketing tasks upon request
On-call for select weekends and nights as needed
Owns daily program scheduling strategy, determining what to schedule in which blocks on weekly basis.

Qualifications:

8+ years of live production experience, preferably in a broadcast or streaming environment
Hands on experience operating broadcast playlists using Amagi, Frequency, Crispin, or others
Independent creative decision making on content selection, playlist, and live operations in a fast paced environment without having time to always check with other stakeholders
Knowledge of streaming protocols (rtmp, SRT, HLS) is a plus
Experience working as part of a large team
An eye for detail with excellent time management and organizational skills to get the projects completed on time.
Experience in live event and multimedia production, preferably with a large, corporate entity or commercial institution.
Proven track record in the delivery of corporate video projects to client specification.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet the deadlines outlined for a particular project.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation range for this position $148,000 - $165,000.
