What does a great Advertising Systems Administrator do?

Join a fun energetic team in an exciting and evolving work environment. The Advertising Systems Administrator provides support for Travelport’s post-sales online advertising and set-up. The position will bridge Digital Media Solutions sales teams and advertising operations functions to ensure that advertiser assets are properly handled, campaigns and programs are properly executed and that the long-term stability and growth of Travelport’s advertising relationships are preserved.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accountable for maintaining and optimizing systems processes, performance & integration for Digital Media Solutions. This would include system migrations, new product launches & data insight requests.
  • Work to troubleshoot issues with Digital Media systems and/or campaigns in areas which require knowledge of Java, CSS, HTML, MySQL, Sybase, Oracle
  • Creates, maintains, and presents regular (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) campaign status and metric reports as well as develop ad-hoc reports to support strategic planning and fact-based analysis.
  • Liaises with internal departments regarding advertising inventory, availability forecasting, campaign performance, and ‘sell-thru’ reporting.
  • Collaborate with product, technology, data and marketing teams to define and refine programs, products, integrations and provide expertise regarding ad placements, targeting and revenue optimization.
  • Assists with the development and communication of creative specifications, policies and requirements for ad products and programs.

Assist with monthly billing process and reporting for Digital Media Solutions sales and partnerships

Who we are looking for in this role:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience (or related education) working in online ad operations for a publisher, network, or ad agency
  • Thorough understanding of online ad campaign metrics and analysis including CPM, CPC, and CPA.
  • Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics; strong knowledge of MS Excel including pivot tables.
  • Solid Understanding of Java Script and basic HTML.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server
  • Significant familiarity working with any of the major ad serving solutions
  • Solid verbal & written communication skills, organization skills, and excellent time - management skills.
  • Strong inter-personal skills.
  • Attention to detail and great organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-centric environment.
  • Prior experience in the travel industry a plus.

Salary Target: $80,000 - $85,000

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
