About the Role:
The Partner Solutions team within Wiley Research seeks a curious and driven specialist in Advertising Technology to join our product & platforms team. You will manage and oversee the integration, implementation, management, and optimization of Wiley Partner Solutions Ad Tech Stack across the product portfolio. You will be required to understand the needs of publishers, partners, and corporates and to work closely with the product managers to deliver on these needs to help shape the future of our advertising capabilities across our publishing platforms. You will analyze the performance of our advertising capabilities and collaborate with strategic marketing and advertising leaders to identify technology, process, and workflow improvements for Ad Tech and Ad Operations. The result will be to improve the targeting capabilities and user engagement with advertising opportunities within publisher websites built on Literatum, WordPress, Drupal, and to optimize performance in an ever-changing ecosystem. Previous experience with ad servers, CDP’s, DMP’s, and CRM’s is necessary. Previous experience with publishing platforms and programmatic advertising is preferable
How you will make an impact:
Manage integrations, implementation, management, and optimization of Ad technology on Wiley publishing platforms.
Work closely with the Product and Technology team/site engineers to QA/troubleshoot ad serve integrations/deployments and platform releases.
Find process and workflow improvements for Ad Tech and Ad Operations.
Analyze delivery, latency, and error diagnostic reporting and make recommendations to management based on detailed analysis.
Support ad sales, pricing and planning, and marketing teams to maximize revenue generation and communicate ad product capabilities.
Technical escalation for troubleshooting to support Ad Ops and Ad Tech coordinators.
Set priorities and give a strategic and tactical vision to cross-functional teams.
Act as a strategic partner and influence colleagues across the organization to drive solutions.
Collaborate with colleagues on user research activities, experimenting and iterating on all aspects of functionality.
Prioritize, develop, and document business requirements.
In this role, you will have an opportunity to define/refine strategies, solutions, and architectures to achieve our business goals and help solve our engineering challenges.
Be accountable for developing the ad technology architecture for Partner Solutions to ensure a cohesive product ecosystem across each vertical, enhance existing workflows, identify process improvements, provide strategic recommendations, and take a lead role with cross-functional technical and operations teams to design, build, and launch new features and new initiatives.
What we look for:
5 years of experience in digital ad operations, ad technology, or other relevant media/advertising/technology field
Experience with Google Ad Manager, Kevel, MOAT, Salesforce DMP (KRUX), OneCount and/or Jeeng Ad Serve
Proficient understanding of digital ad products, ad measurement, and programmatic advertising
Strong domain expertise of the Ad Technology ecosystem and the roles of key players (including DSPs, DMPs, exchanges, etc.)
Experience creating and managing strategic product roadmaps to advance a digital business.

We are committed to fair, transparent pay, and we strive to provide competitive compensation in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. This range represents Wiley’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the $81,000-$115,000 range, however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
