Job Description

What you’ll do:   
•    Review soil profile and perform geotechnical design calculation for preliminary studies.  
•    Lead in the preparation of detailed design reports, calculations, and drawings.  
•    Perform geotechnical analysis and geotechnical findings.  
•    Responsible for geotechnical design development and assessment including ground improvement works, foundation design, ERSS and Instrumentation   
•    Oversee feasibility studies and prepare weekly reports & work programs.   
•    Conduct site surveys, monitoring and review instrumentation readings, also involved in Risk Management   
•    Prepare and compile technical reports and drawings.   
•    Plays a key role in client management and client satisfaction.  
•    Liaison with project stakeholders, clients, other consultants, contractors, relevant authorities.  
•    Assist with authority submission requirements for geotechnical works.  

Qualifications

Meet the requirements:   

•    Bachelor’s / Masters degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering   
•    Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in Geotechnical, preferred in Coastal/Reclamation projects
•    Familiar with numerical analysis of soil structure interaction   
•    Conversant with local codes and authority submission procedures  
•    Excellent technical and project management skills  
•    Familiar with Plaxis and Slope/W  
•    Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedure and  construction administration.
