Join us.• *Job Description**• *AECOM** is seeking an **Entry-Level Interior Designer** to be based in **New York, NY** ._This position is expected to begin immediately._Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks.Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of science alternatives.Provides the planning, design and construction of buildings, landscapes and products. This group creates the style and method of design and construction of buildings and other physical structures.Exercises sound judgment in assessing problem situations or complex design issues and uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions.Understanding of the discipline’s equipment and material lists.Advises the Interior Design Director/Leader about status of assignment(s) with respect to schedule, budgets, delays, and adverse problems.Understands and assists with the planning and scheduling of design tasks associated with assigned project.Assists in interpreting industry codes, permits, and standards, and ensures design and drawing compliance.Understands the role of each of the other disciplines.• *Qualifications**• *Minimum Requirements:**Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or in another related field.• *Preferred Qualifications:**Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office.• *Additional Information**Relocation assistance is not available for this position.Sponsorship is not available for this position.Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
