Position Overview: We are a new company seeking a motivated and detail-oriented E-Commerce, Social Media, and Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our journey from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing online sales of consigned items through our website, Facebook Marketplace, eBay, and Craigslist. Additionally, they will leverage social media platforms to drive sales and engage with customers. As the company grows, there will be ample opportunities for professional growth and pay increases.Key Responsibilities:• Photograph and list products for sale on the company website, Facebook Marketplace, eBay, and Craigslist.• Create compelling product descriptions and ensure accurate product information.• Experience with cash register operations• Monitor and manage online listings to ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.• Engage with customers through social media channels to answer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.• Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales and enhance the company's social media presence.• Track and analyze sales performance across different platforms and suggest improvements.• Coordinate with consignors to ensure product availability and timely fulfillment of orders.• Stay updated on e-commerce and social media trends to keep the company's online presence competitive.• Maintain records of consigned items, including tracking sales and managing consignor payments.Qualifications:• Previous experience in retail, e-commerce, or social media sales is preferred.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Proficiency in using online marketplaces such as eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and Craigslist.• Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for sales and customer engagement.• Basic photography skills with an eye for detail and product presentation.• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.• Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs• Recommend, select, and help locate the right merchandise• Receive payment by cash or credit cards.• Keep sales floor tidy and well-stockedExperience:• Previous retail experience, preferred• Proficiency in English; bilingual skills are a plus• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is advantageous• Previous experience in inventory control and management, including tracking and managing stock levels, conducting regular inventory audits, and maintaining accurate records.Education:• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in e-commerce, marketing, or related fields is a plus.Working Conditions:• Full-time position with a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays.• Primarily based in a retail environment with occasional travel for off-site sales events or training.Benefits:• Opportunities for professional growth and developmentJoin our team and contribute to our success by enhancing our online presence and driving sales through innovative e-commerce and social media strategies.
