Electrician Tech

Job Title: Electrician Tech - Ruther Glen, VA area• Monday to Thursday: 5:30am to 4pm & Friday from 5:30am to 1:30pm• Lots of Overtime if you want it!• Weekly Pay• Up to $30/hr depending on experience• +BenefitsSome of the job duties:• Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components, and devices associated with electrical equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.• Installing and mounting electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components.• Installing conduit, wireways, pulling wiring/cables, and terminating cables.• Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and control wiring diagramsAbout• Contract job for 5 months but you are able to go direct with the company after the contract endsEssential Skills• Experience working with Electrical Distribution systems and wiring up to 480V.• Ability to install conduit, wireways, pull wiring/cables and terminate cables.• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and control wiring diagrams.• Experience bending and installing rigid 1.5 inch pipe.• Experience in wiring.• 3rd or 4th year apprentice electrician, or experience in an Electrical helper role for the past 3 or 4 years.• Journeyman or Master level with at least 4 years of experience.• Commercial background.Additional Skills & Qualifications• Experience wiring 3-way switches.• Performing interlock wiring as required.• Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits.Why Work Here?If you become a permanent employee, you will have the opportunity to enroll in an apprentice program, with the cost reimbursed upon completion.
