JOB DUTIES:The operator will be trained in all the machines required for SMT assembly i.e. screen printers, robots, and reflow equipment. Including but not limited to:• Prep the line for production.• Monitor production runs to insure acceptable quality levels.• Support the line including feeder setup and verification.• Will operate SMT screen printer.• Check foot straps for ESD compliance as needed.• Follows ISO process sheet for the operation.• Adheres to all quality and safety guidelines.• Participate in performance feedback.• Places units in cycle oven.• Receives materials from stockroom and verifies the correct materials.• Loads reels into the machine per the product being produced.• Loads programs into the machine per the product being produced.• Assist in machine change-over.• Will assist in maintaining department records and reports.• Need to develop good understanding of department processes.• Assure correct placement of all components through periodic visual inspection.• Log defects and errors into the traceability system.• Assure that non-conforming material is dispositioned appropriately.• Communicate equipment or program issues to engineering and maintenance support in the event that they cannot be resolved at the operator level.• Additional duties as assigned.SHIFTS:First Shift: 7AM-3:30PMMonday - FridaySecond Shift: 3:30PM - 11:30PMMonday - FridayADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:• Knowledge of quality procedures.• Experience with machine operation in industrial/production based environment.• Previous SMT machine operation experience preferred.• Able to read blueprints.• Knowledge of material tolerances.• Computer skills.• Ability to be precise and detailed in work.• Able and willing to cross-train into other production positions which may have different technical or physical requirements.• Ability to use basic Hand tools.BENEFITS:Medical, Dental, Vision through BlueCross BlueshieldContract Opportunity and experience with leader in industryCompany EventsAbout Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
