Aerotek is seeking aircraft sheet metal mechanics in Medford/Central Point, OR.• If you are interested, contact Elijah at 208 794 6164*Compensation: up to $50 an hour (per diem available for those who qualify)Overview:• Structures Mechanic responsible for heavy maintenance and build-up/refurbishment of heavy-lift helicopters (s64)• Utilizing blueprints, perform repairs by riveting, countersinking, bending and cutting sheet metal, installing structural components to repair USMC fleet helicopters. Also will work in the Pylon shop, client manufactures and repairs the pylons under contract with the OEM.• This also involves metal cutting/bending, drilling/reaming/countersinking/riveting, and other metal forming and repair tasks.Additional Skills & Qualifications:• Must be comfortable performing a Structures test on or before first day: few dozen rivets, a couple of bends• Must have own tools - Basic hand tools minimum• A&P preferred but not required• Must be able to drill, cut, bend, countersink, rivet aircraft sheet metalExperience Level:• Intermediate LevelAbout Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
