Affiliate Marketing Manager

Credit Sesame is a financial app for consumers who want to be confident their finances are under control. The platform uses AI to help consumers achieve credit health and financial fitness by managing and growing their credit and cash together. An all-in-one app to monitor credit score daily, receive insightful credit improvement and finance recommendations, and find the right credit cards and loans.

We’re looking for an experienced, data-driven Aﬃliate Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate is someone with prior affiliate marketing, business development and account management experience who is well versed with the latest technologies & platforms involved in digital marketing. While primarily focused on aﬃliate marketing, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the rest of the Marketing team and will contribute ideas for digital, social, and other performance marketing channels.

You'll...

drive Credit Sesame’s aﬃliate marketing program growth, including strategy, planning and execution.
aggressively recruit new aﬃliate partners; negotiate partner contracts; get the deals done;
work daily with existing partners to manage and optimize campaigns for our Credit business and other business verticals;
analyze aﬃliate performance and ROI, managing allocations based on performance and overall goals; partner with product teams on ways to improve new user sign up experience, and growth opportunities;
recommend and implement various strategies to improve key KPIs (ROI, CPA and the lead quality) to maximize aﬃliate performance.

You're a great ﬁt for our team because...

you have 5+ years experience running and expanding in-house aﬃliate marketing programs, managing large budgets, and exceeding business targets (ROI on spend);
2+ years of inside sales experience preferred
you are driven and dynamic; you thrive in a high growth and fast-paced environment;
you are excellent in selling and negotiating performance based packages with business partners and consistently exceeded business expectations;
you’re driven and motivated by performance and results; proactively looking for opportunities to improve and expand; managing affiliates with “pay for performance” discipline
you are analytical and metrics-focused: and comfortable analyzing large data sets and drawing insights;
you are action-oriented and excellent in execution;
you have deep experience with working in both the web and mobile app aﬃliate spaces;
you have expert knowledge of ad tracking platform (HasOﬀers, Impact), brand monitoring (BrandVerity), and compliance (Lashback) tools;
you possess advanced Excel or Google sheets skills;
you have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

At Credit Sesame, base pay is one part of our total compensation package. The estimated base salary range for this role in the San Francisco Bay Area is $83,000 - $95,000 plus bonus. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate’s location, qualifications, skills, and experience. This role is eligible to participate in Credit Sesame’s bonus and equity plan.
