Tasks & accountabilities

You will be in charge of the following activities:

  • To interact with Aircraft System Designers to understand their needs deeply, and to translate those needs into a rapid prototype to develop a solution most suited to their needs, assess the value proposition, viability and sustainability of the solution, and apply state of the art means wherever applicable.

  •  To transform this prototype into a secure, compliant and viable industrial solution while working closely with the IS/IT partners (Architects, Cybersecurity, Data governance and infrastructure architects), to create a cost efficient solution which is secure by design. 

  • To constantly evolve the solution as a function of the aircraft design needs and the latest technological standard available in the industry and work towards acceptance of the state of the art in solutions under daily use.

  • T o create trades between different available and viable options to create a logical basis for taking decisions

  •   To be an integral part of the multi-cultural team and be a passionate group together.

  • To ensure that there is long term consistency in the solutions developed and delivered to the system designers.

 

Your boarding pass

Experience in system design is a plus

Degree in Engineering or Sciences Advanced level of English & French

At least 5 years of experiences working as functional/solution architect

Required skills

As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate some or all of the following skills and competencies: 

Data Analytics: autonomous level

Modelization of data and connectivity of business objects with business needs vs IM architectural bricks in the Enterprise architecture framework format of Airbus (based on Archimate3)

Cooperative planning and designing of a solution with several stakeholders while keeping business value/efficiency , genericity and simplicity as the primary motivations.

Curiosity, ability to dig deeper into the subject at hand in order to interpret the needs of the solution/product user

Rapid prototyping skills is key

Strong ethical mindset and uncompromising on compliance

Ability to adapt fast to new environment, including new technologies Strong team player
