Job Title SEO and Content Strategist Job Type Contract... Job Location : California (Fully Remote) Requirement: Fully Remote but if in Santa Clara, CA area, required onsite 2-3 days per week. Video/Audio capability will be required on remote working days • Initial Length of assignment: 3 months but high possibility of extension depending on performance and team fit. • Purpose: SEO support to improve traffic on website and hence drive growth. Job Description: We are looking for a SEO & Content Strategist who will be responsible for increasing organic traffic by developing effective content and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies. This includes crafting the content strategy across the website, creating content plans and tracking its progress, analyzing keywords and working with the SEO agency to implement the solutions. This person will closely work with the entire marketing team to ensure our content plan aligns with our overall business goals. Key Responsibilities • Formulating comprehensive content strategies aligned with overall business objectives. Identifying target audiences and tailoring content to meet their needs and preferences. • Conducting keyword research to enhance content visibility and search engine rankings. • Implementing on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve content performance. • Work with the agency and internal marketing team to perform keyword research, build lists of targeted key phrases, and assign key phrases to pages and articles. • Identify areas for on-site improvements in site structure, internal linking, and information architecture. Craft content strategies accordingly. • Proofread content for keyword optimization per our guidelines • Track the progress of implementation of content plans, including the production of blog articles, generation of new website copy, and re-optimization of existing website copy. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and generate creative content ideas. • Creating editorial calendars to ensure a consistent and timely flow of content. Education: • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field Experience: • Ability to analyze and report on performance of SEO strategies. • 5+ years managing SEO and content strategy. • Worked with B2B organizations and hands-on experience collaborating with different functions of marketing. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly communicate strategy. • Experience with tools such as Google Analytics4, Search Console, Ahrefs, WordPress is a must. • Strong sense of teamwork, collaboration, and relationship management • Knowledge of reporting techniques with the ability to provide relevant, accurate data and analysis to influence business planning and strategy • Team player that works well across internal departments and also external agencies (product marketing, SEO Agency, Content Writers) • Experience thriving in a B2B fast-paced, high-growth, global environment.
