About the role

What you need to know:
The Claims Performance & Operations Analyst is foundational for robust operational management and will have direct management responsibility for the delivery of the claims operations function in the PR and supporting entities (AIG PR, Fac Desk, Caribbean & AIG Latin America II). This includes responsibility for:

The design, management, and implementation of global, regional, and local claims improvement programs & initiatives, claims governance & compliance, process optimization and transformation (including digitalization and automation), effectively collaborating with country SME and region cross-functional teams (E2E improvement focus).

Collaborating with global, regional, and country functions to ensure effective TPA management, vendor management and Global Quality Assurance for LAC Claims.

This role will also have direct responsibility to implement a culture within LAC Claims of Continuous Improvement, its tools, and techniques, creating a culture of improvement (constantly re-examining and looking for ways to improve our processes and overall operating model).

Analyze processes, identify trends, recommend, and implement improvements to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Supports strategic initiative management on various projects and initiatives of varying complexity.

Challenge current processes and ways of working for identifying improvement opportunities whilst aligning to the broader Regional, International and Global priorities.

What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent industry experience.

This role suits candidates that have relevant business analyst and reporting knowledge and experience.

Proficient in all Microsoft applications and advanced excel skills (Word, PowerPoint and Outlook). Ability to adapt to and learn new systems.

Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, including verbal and written.

Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a strong attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other units within the Department and a team setting.

Ability to work with claims stakeholders to effectively direct claims strategy.

Strong and demonstrated project management and analytical skills.

Self-starter takes ownership of tasks, projects, with minimal direction to drive expected outcomes.

Strong background in an operational environment and process improvement.
