The team is responsible for shielding the company’s systems from security risks, while designing technology strategies that enable AIG’s businesses to achieve their goals. AIG’s Information Technology functions include enterprise architecture, software and systems engineering, cybersecurity, and technology risk and compliance.Responsible AI LeaderThe Responsible AI (RAI) Leader plays a critical role in managing the interaction with our AI product teams to ensure the AI solutions are aligned with the enterprise Responsible AI principles and standards. Additionally, the RAI leader supports the design and execution of the overall Responsible AI program as well as the communication and awareness initiatives associated with Responsible AI principles and methods.How you will create an impact• Reviews portfolio of AI solutions to evaluate alignment with Responsible AI (RAI) principles as well as required oversight and controls depending on associated RAI risks• Provides Responsible AI (RAI) expert support to AI product development teams, including conducting independent product reviews, responding to ad hoc support requests, and facilitating workshops• Oversees execution of the RAI assurance process in the development of new products (e.g., identify & assess RAI risks, oversees development of mitigation plans, specifies RAI test and controls to implement, recommends path forward, escalates issues)• Reviews RAI reports from AI solutions in production to identify emerging issues and recommends mitigation plans, escalating as needed• Creates executive reports and analyses on the RAI performance of the AI solutions portfolio, for senior management and product teams• Helps coordinate the review of RAI issues across Legal, Compliance, Security, and other related groups• Maintains and updates the RAI framework (principles, policies, procedures, methods, and governance model)• Drives the development of RAI AI tools and frameworks and their integration into AI products• Creates, updates, coordinates, and delivers RAI training content for technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of seniority• Manages the RAI awareness program, providing content and support to internal trainings and event• [If applicable in the context of AIG’s RAI governance] Coordinates Responsible AI Committee monthly/quarterly meetings and helps refine Committee’s operating model• Contributes to the development and improvement of RAI assets: methods, technical tutorials, tools• Monitors emerging global AI regulatory frameworks and policies and helps translate into RAI framework updates• Remains up-to-date on the emerging frameworks, standards, technical approaches, and related issues by participating in workshops, reading academic research and professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in relevant eventsWhat you'll need to succeed• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution• An MBA or other advanced degree (preferred), or equivalent practical experience• 6+ years of experience in Responsible AI/AI ethics, including directly engaging with AI product teams• 6+ years of experience in project management and team leadership• 10+ years in financial services, insurance, consulting or similar industries• 8+ years in a leadership or managerial role• Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence technologies including Generative AI• Advanced knowledge of Responsible AI issues, trends, frameworks, and best practices. Specific knowledge in insurance and financial services is preferred• Advanced knowledge of emerging AI regulatory frameworks• Basic knowledge of regulatory frameworks for insurance is preferred• Basic knowledge of data science methods (statistical and econometric analyses, traditional AI and generative AI) and AI solutions development process (models and applications)• Basic software developing/coding abilities, preferred• Working knowledge of agile at scale development methodologies, preferred• Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences• Strong problem-solving and risk identification/mitigation in business contexts• The ability to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information and thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually demanding and service-oriented environment• The capacity for self-motivation, independent initiative and creative problem-solving• The ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines and influence through persuasive written and verbal communication• A diligent attention to detail and strong technical intuition, as well as the ability to set and manage expectations at the executive level• Excellent leadership skills with experience collaborating and managing cross-functional teams• Expertise in C-suite level communicate skills (written and verbal) to convey thought leadership for digital product concepts and influence senior leadership (L3/L2) executives• Demonstrated progressive experience in management and leadership including direct management of small to mid-size employee teams and/or contractors• Experience in providing guidance and coaching to develop junior team members#AI #GenAI #artificialintelligenceEnjoy benefits that take care of what mattersAt AIG, our people are our greatest asset.
