Air Duct Assistant Technician

The air duct technician assistant assists the lead air duct technician in performing residential air duct cleaning scheduled in customers’ homes. The air duct technician assistant will be trained and then apply proper knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to all activities to meet or exceed client needs and expectations. The air duct technician assistant must think on his/her feet and assist the lead duct cleaning technician with real-time problem solving.

Accountabilities:

• Performs necessary activities requested by the lead technician.
• Demonstrates professional knowledge of all company products and services; speaks enthusiastically about them.
• Rigorously follows operating procedures assisting the lead technician, ensuring pre-determined standards of cleaning are met for each component of the air duct system at each job.
• Assists in completing daily equipment maintenance and check-in/check-out procedures.

• Works well with co-workers, developing a strong team approach with lead technician.
• Reliable and customer service oriented.
• Requires physical labor on a daily basis in various weather conditions. Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Requires a strong work ethic.

• Reliable transportation to get to work and license required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• The ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including repetitive "push/pull" movements with heavy extraction equipment and moving/lifting at least 50 lbs.
• The ability to meet customer needs and "wowing" them with education on our services and spectacular customer service (do not need to generate own leads).
• The ability to perform essential job duties, including the cleaning and maintenance of both residential homes and commercial office environments.
• A desire to be the friendly face of the company.
• The ability to communicate well in English (both verbally and in writing)
