Air Duct Technician

Duct Cleaning Technicians perform scheduled residential and commercial duct cleaning in customers’ homes and businesses. Meets and exceeds client needs and expectations by maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Accountabilities:

• Perform duct cleaning at residential locations.
• Communicate the basic air duct cleaning process to homeowners.
• Demonstrate professional knowledge of all company products and services.
• Determine appropriate customer requirements.
• Access customers' HVAC systems appropriately.
• Wear personal protective equipment as required.
• Clean and replaces registers.
• Respond to customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete daily procedures-vehicle inspections, departmental reporting, etc.

Core Competencies:

• Willingness and ability to learn on the job and attend industry training seminars and classes for HVAC knowledge and duct cleaning certifications.
• Previous experience in field service positions is required; experience with air ducts and/or HVAC is a plus, but not required.
• Applicants must be reliable and customer service-oriented.
• Requires some physical labor daily in various weather conditions.
• A valid State driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• The ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including repetitive "push/pull" movements with heavy extraction equipment and moving/lifting at least 50 lbs.
• The ability to meet customer needs and "wowing" them with education on our services and spectacular customer service (do not need to generate own leads).
• The ability to perform essential job duties, including the cleaning and maintenance of both residential homes and commercial office environments.

• The ability to communicate well in English (both verbally and in writing)
