Every day, Hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way.The Community You Will Join:As a Programs and Business Operations Lead, you will work with the Events Senior Lead to develop and execute strategies to grow the success of Airbnb’s global Events Program. You will also align the XFN functions operating behind this program against common objectives and work with other teams in the organization on these global projects. Your attention to detail, organization, ability to multitask, work on multiple priorities and work under pressure will ensure you succeed.The Difference You Will Make:This role should be great at understanding the needs of the Airbnb community and defining levers to help them succeed in the platform. You will develop strong relationships and deliver valuable guidance to help them grow within the Airbnb marketplace.A Typical Day:• Oversee a centralized Events model that drives business growth and will consist in shaping the levers and approach that should be developed at the country level to grow our communities.• An expert in business analytics and operations, responsible for creating the framework by which any number of approved Events tactics are deployed, driving structured decision-making and partnering closely with Global Supply leads, Country Managers and in market Business and Strategy Operations Leads.• Responsible for building a robust data tracking and analysis infrastructure in partnership with Analytics, Strategic Finance, Product and Engineering teams to steer event strategy, evaluate event performance and provide actionable insights for the wider Events business.• Drive, influence, and align all relevant key stakeholders to achieve the objectives set up for the Events Program.• Be the point of contact with product marketing in the country in order to get feedback and provide insights on key launches.• Track and analyze key business metrics to measure the effectiveness of large scale Event programs. Regularly analyze data to refine strategies, improve content, and enhance the overall impact of the program that will support the decisions taken in the country to achieve the goals• Influence and guide the development of the events strategy across the company at large, focused on driving growth metrics. Includes identifying business trends and opportunities that can be enhanced through the events work.Your Expertise:• 10+ years experience in a consulting position, or project management in hospitality or online Travel Agency (OTA) industry is preferred. Experience working with major events is preferred.• Expert in data modeling and tracking and analytics infrastructure to produce a robust business intelligence framework• Strong experience in with product and engineering teams as well as external data vendors• Able to extract insights from the data and turn that into actionable recommendations• Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, sales operations and enablement teams• Ability to take initiative and deal with uncertainties• Strong appetite for working with the Airbnb community• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills.• Pays attention to both details and macro-level outcomes• Seasoned internal and external communicator with strong interpersonal skills• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and ever changing startup environment• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity.• Data driven, can do attitude, strategic thinker and passion for new products and solutions.• Comfortable with Excel, SQL• Strong verbal and written communication skillsYour Location:This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.Pay Range$155,000—$199,000 USD
