Lead Program Manager

A Typical Day:

Annual Planning

• Lead big rock planning to connect Company and Tech Strategy to execution 

Program Management:

• Plan, execute, and oversee programs and initiatives aimed at improving business operations and achieving efficiency. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless execution of operations-related projects.

Notes, action items, and follow-up from key meetings

• Coordinate and attend regular and ad hoc leadership and cross-functional meetings
• Prepares follow-up communications for meeting attendees including notes, action items, and next steps

Strategic Working Documents and Key Materials Prep

• Draft cross-functional working documents for major initiatives, key materials for ad hoc projects, and presentations for internal communications and annual planning
• Special Projects: One-off cross-functional projects as needed.
• Generate regular reports and dashboards to track progress, provide insights, and inform decision-making.

Clear communication across the organization 

• Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels across the organization
• Provide regular updates, gather feedback and ensure alignment on program goals
• Ensure that all functions on the team are working towards the same goals

Your Expertise:

Strong listener and articulate writer:

• Attentively listens and absorbs everything happening in a room and enjoys soaking up all the information
• Ability to extract poignant information and translate that into simple concise written communication that is clear, consumable, and actionable for all potential audiences.

Communication, collaboration

• Ability to work cross functionally and get buy-in from different stakeholders across the organization
• Can communicate effectively to different stakeholders and speak other people’s language (to different people across different functions like engineering, data science, product, etc.)

Program Management/Planning Experience

• 12 +years of previous experience working on mid- large scale programs in technology companies
• Experience with program and change management in mid to large scale programs 
• Passionate about leveraging tools to achieve operational excellence 
• Understands and has experience with industry standard project management/software tools 
• Track record of successfully managing programs within established timelines and deliverables

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
