We are rapidly growing to ramp up product development and operations.RESPONSIBILITIES• Transform visiting the eye doctor into an enjoyable and delightful experience for a BILLION people• Design, implement, and test brand new user-facing product features having top-line business and performance impact• Tackle challenges to provide responsive and engaging customer experiences while ensuring user data is being handled securely and with care• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers• Work closely with our product and design teams to build new and innovative application experiences for Android• Build reusable Android software components for interfacing with our back-end platforms• Implement custom native user interfaces using the latest Android programming techniques• Experience shipping one or more Android apps (Kotlin), ideally currently available in the Google Play StoreREQUIRMENTS• BS/MS in CS, related technical field, or equivalent industry experience• 5+ years of object-oriented software development experience• 2+ years experience building Android applications in Kotlin using Android SDK• Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques• Experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory managementWhy join us?• Passionate founders with pedigree relevant to the space (Forbes 30 under 30, ex-Facebook and Airbnb, former board members and advisors at various companies)• Proven team with senior leadership and subject-matter expertise• Enormous market ($40B is spent annually in the US vision care, over $17B is going to waste annually)• XProven product market fit with 2500+ corporate clients (and quickly expanding with 10x topline growth in the last 2 years!)Come join our fast-growing team to disrupt and recreate a better vision care experience from the ground up!CA Pay Range$120,000-$180,000 USD
