Overview:
EXPLEO USA is looking for an Aircraft Optional Systems Engineer to join a dynamic and expanding team in Little Rock, AR.
You will be responsible for establishing and tracking projects to define the industrialization of new and/or modified optional systems into the production environment. Your focus will be on ensuring high efficiency, cost reduction, and schedule adherence, while maintaining the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the industrialization process and drive improvements in our production operations.
Responsibilities:

Establish and track projects to define the industrialization of new and/or modified optional systems into the production environment.

Coordinate with engineering for new aircraft customized options and participate in Digital Mock Up (DMU) reviews.

Create and manage both 3D and written Work documents/instructions and instructions using MES.

Follow up with production team and make changes or adjustments to plans as needed. Provide guidance or instructions to manufacturing at initial build.

Ensure high efficiency that enables cost reduction and adherence to schedules, while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Identify and develop compliant industrial requirements for new systems/programs and track progress by participating in program studies.

Define and validate the industrialization plan for the installation, configuration, and testing of the optional systems, including processes, benches, tools, and associated documents.

Coordinate with all stakeholders for trade study activities to ensure industrial improvements, including assisting production in their own improvement projects related to systems.
Qualifications:

Prior aerospace experience is required.

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, such as Industrial Technology or a related Manufacturing discipline.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and understand requirements.

Energetic and motivated to discover and implement quality and profit improvement ideas.

Proficiency in CATIA V5, SolidWorks, or similar software for design and analysis purposes.

Knowledge and proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite.
