Airline Recruiter

AirDialog is a new cargo feeder operator, commencing operations for a major cargo carrier in June 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our world-class leadership team holds extensive strategic and operational experience in the air cargo industry. We are building a high performance team and hiring at all levels within the organization.

We are a team of mission-driven engineers and operators with experience across aerospace, robotics and self-driving cars working to make this future a reality.

As an Airline Recruiter you will be fully dedicated to supporting the Airline Management Team and the airline hiring needs at AirDialog. You'll have the structure and resources of the parent company’s Talent Acquisition team, including systems, tools, candidate coordination and talent sourcing support. You will be well equipped to identify, recruit and hire for the airline. You'll focus on the immediate needs of the airline, including pilots and airline support roles. Additionally, you'll build a pipeline of future talent to support the continued growth of the airline.

Responsibilities

In your role as an Airline Recruiter, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the recruitment strategy for the airline. You will build candidate pipelines through referrals, sourcing, networking, and market research. You will spend a significant amount of time developing candidate networks across all aspects of airline operations, including senior leadership, safety, maintenance, and pilots. You will act as a business partner to design and execute recruiting strategies with hiring managers and you will own the entire candidate lifecycle: sourcing, screening, scheduling, and presenting offers. You’ll leverage your expertise and knowledge of the airline industry to help us refine our strategies and adapt to the ever-changing talent market. You will travel to recruiting events and other locations promoting the airline.

Basic Success Criteria

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience recruiting pilots, airline support, or similar roles
  • Proven track record of sourcing, candidate management, and offer closing
  • Experience leveraging recruitment technologies such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), candidate engagement platforms, talent sourcing tools, scheduling tools, etc.
  • Experience working with scalable, repeatable recruitment processes to drive best practice and actionable data that leads to continuous improvement

Preferred Criteria

  • Deep understanding of the airline industry, especially Part 135 cargo operations
  • Familiarity with Lever ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ, TopFunnel, and Clara Labs
  • Commitment to delivering a flawless candidate experience
  • Passion for building diverse and inclusive teams

This role can be located remote, the Airline office in Albuquerque, NM, or the parent company headquarters in Mountain View, CA. Must be willing to travel 20% of the time.

The estimated salary range for this position is $95,500 to $112,500. At AirDialog, we strive to provide competitive and rewarding compensation based on experience and expertise, as well as market conditions, location, and pay equity.

In addition to base compensation there are stock options in our parent company, Reliable Robotics. You will receive employee medical, 401k contribution vested 100% day 1, great co-workers and a casual work environment.
