Job Function:
The Station Supervisor is responsible for the safety, security, service delivery and a/c handling process in their station for AF and KL and, where applicable third parties during his/her shift. The Supervisor will keep track of the quality levels and the targets agreed upon. They will coordinate activities on his/her station towards the Deputy Station Manager. The Station Supervisor may handle responsibilities for the Deputy Station Manager in case of his/her absence.
In line with company policy and procedures the Station Supervisor manages the team of agents (Air France/KLM staff or third parties), performs administrative activities as needed that support the actual handling of flights, where applicable, and third parties.
The Station Supervisor also supports flight operations at Salt Lake City, Austin and Denver Airports. Business travel will be required on a regular basis to support these stations.
Key Responsibilities:
Steers and supervises all handling activities (in case of self-handling) or coordinates with the agent (in case of outsourcing) to ensure a timely, safe and efficient flight handling process
Responsible for all services related to passenger handling activities incl. catering according to the company standards of safety, quality and customer satisfaction. In line with company guidelines ensures compliance with “service standards” and guarantees customer satisfaction is exceeded through coaching of the staff, developing their skills and performing periodic performance appraisals.
Perform all supporting activities to ensure an efficient handling of flights and, where applicable, third parties. The position is responsible for the day to day supervision of the Ramp/Operations activities, with the leadership objective to maintain a well-trained and professional team within the scope of Aircraft Turnaround, Aircraft Loading, Crew Activities, Flight Operations, and OPS1 Quality Assurance. To supervise and delegate duties to the team and monitor safety and security compliance.
To deliver dedicated services to specific high-valued customers such as La Premiere, VIPs, official personalities and official flights. His main purpose is to deliver a personalized service that corresponds to the image of the company. Ensures continuous development of the lounge services provided to our customers by a dedicated staff.
In line with company guidelines and procedures, ensures the catering product provided to customers and crew are of highest standards for quality, and ensures compliance with corporate specifications, monitors and reports the cost efficiency for catering operations.
