The Airwallex SDR Program
As a Sales Development Representative, you'll play a critical role in driving our future success. You'll be responsible for:
Identifying and qualifying leads through various channels, including phone, email, and social media.
Building relationships with potential customers and understanding their needs and pain points.
Presenting our innovative solutions and crafting compelling value propositions.
Qualifying opportunities and scheduling appointments for our Account Executives.
Owning the full sales cycle of our inbound sales channels to learn about our sales process, onboarding clients, and learning about the verticals and companies we serve.

We're committed to providing our SDRs with the training and support they need to succeed, because we believe our SDR’s are AE’s in training. Plan to work remotely as you start this role in Austin, switching to 2 days in office when we obtain a space in the market.

You Will Make Impact By:
Developing and executing plans for winning business with high growth organization in our SME & Growth verticals
Owning full sales cycle for inbound sales channel and driving GP uplift for our inbound customers
Working with AE’s to build outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities
Implementing a multithreaded outbound sales approach for prospecting leads, activating your networking and creating business connections
Being an expert in all aspects of the Airwallex platform, our customers, and our solutions
Clearly communicating the challenges in the cross-border payments industry and the value of Airwallex solutions to empower companies to go global
Helping to craft and redesign processes to ensure Airwallex can move quickly and succeed at scale
Being a team player and setting the standard for our entire SME sales function
What We Look For:
Bachelor’s or equivalent work experience, 1-2 years of sales experience in Fintech or the payments space with a proven record of exceeding targets in outbound B2B sales
Experience or desire to be working in a fast paced environment, articularly in 0-1 mode (e.g., helped to launch and grow a new product or region)
Strategic thinker and able to drive 'partnership' conversations vs. 'sales' conversations - Solution Oriented
A FIO (Figure It Out) attitude and are willing to do whatever is necessary to achieve results
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
You have strong analytical skills and an organized way of thinking/working
Proficient in GSuite and sales tech tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, Linkedin Sales Navigator and more..
